On the fifth day of the 2018 World Fencing Championships in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province on July 23, France's Yannick Borel, the world number six, conquered Ruben Limardo Gascon of Venezuela by 15 points to 4 to secure the gold medal in the men's epee final.
Yannick Borel was so excited to win and partly attributed his victory to the organizing city of Wuxi, which he said gave him good luck.
