Organized by the Wuxi Tourism Bureau, Wuxi tourism products brands and two inheritors of intangible cultural heritage took part in the Shuiyun Jiangsu Tourism Products Trade Fair in Nanjing, Jiangsu province from Dec 1-4.
Sponsored by Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Bureau, the fair is designed to carry out the spirit of provincial tourism development to promote innovation and development of tourism products in Jiangsu province.
Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, the fair displayed various tourism products with unique local characteristics, high-quality tourist routes and special tourist towns in seven theme exhibition areas.
Zhao Jiangao, the inheritor of Huishan clay figurine, along with Wu Fangdi, the inheritor of Yixing purple clay teapot, showed the traditional skills of making the famous Wuxi's cultural legacies.
Wuxi's special tourist towns exhibited their featured products, including Buddhist items from Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot, various kinds of teapots from Yixing Hufu tea cultural town and peach desserts from Wuxi Yangshan peach town.
Wuxi Shanlian village also performed a square dance program during the fair.
