Binhu district is located in the southwestern part of Wuxi, with an area of 592.7 square kilometers and a shoreline of 112 kilometers along Taihu Lake.
It has rapidly developed in recent years, forming a modern industrial system engaged in the advanced manufacturing industry, modern services industry, emerging industries and tourism.
Binhu district is home to many famous tourist attractions, including the world-famous Lingshan Grand Buddha, Yuantouzhu, or Turtle Head Isle, Plum Garden Hengshan Scenic Area and Lihu Lake.
