Chen Qing, born in the1980s, started to play table tennis at the age of 6 and entered the national team in 2000. She completed the undergraduate course when she was in the team.
Joining in the first national team (top eight in the singles of national games or national championships will be directly selected into the team) in 2005, she immediately prepared for the 2006 Asian Table Tennis Championships.
"I had a lot of pressure because it's the first time I had been a main team player competing for the country glory," said Chen. "Thinking I can't be a drag on the national team, in addition to sleep, I did nothing but training every day."
