Jincang Lake primary school helped its students soar to new heights on Tuesday by hosting a kite festival.
Students first watched a film on kite culture in China as part of the event, before being tested on their knowledge. They then tried their hand at designing their own kites before having a go at flying them.
As a kite culture promotion site in Taicang, the school arranged kite making experts from the city's sport association for the elderly to teach skills to students. They also encouraged parents to participate in kite flying activities with their children after school.
