An art show on Nov 21 presented papering cutting works at the retiree center in Taicang, Jiangsu province.

The 1,000 pieces were created by more than 100 students of a paper cutting class for retired people. The class is taught by Han Chuanshou, a guru of the art form.

Bringing three pieces to show at the exhibition, Gu Fengzhen said one of her works depicts monkeys picking peaches. She also said she has been learning how to do paper cutting for two years, and it has become part of her retired life.
