In preparation for International Women's Day, Fu'an Craftworks in the city of Zhouzhuang, Suzhou, Jiangsu province will hold a rose pastry DIY activity on March 8.
On the day female visitors will be invited to take part in making traditional rose pastries. Each guest will be able to make two cakes each with an additional charge of 10 yuan should they wish to take their cakes home with them.
Rose drinks will be provided free of charge on the day while female visitors wearing a traditional Chinese dress (cheongsam), will receive a handmade soap rose.
