The award ceremony of the 4th "Zhouzhuang Cup" National Children's Short Story Competition was held in Zhouzhuang on May 7, according to xinhuanet.com.
The annual competition, China's only event of this kind, is aimed at promoting writing children's short stories.
Since the competition started last year, the organizers had received more than 3,000 entries from all over the country.Twenty-five pieces stood out among the 58 that were shortlisted on the first round.
These award-winning works covered a broad range of topics, including campus life, homeland, initiation story and science fiction, all of which will be published in a magazine for children.
