Fly Me to Venus, sequel to Fly Me to Polaris, a new romance film, is being shot in Kunshan's Zhouzhuang town, Jiangsu province, Chinese-language Kunshan Daily announced on Dec 1.
The shooting started on Nov 24, covering many scenic spots in Zhouzhuang such as the Twin Bridge, Culture Street, Chunluzhisi Resort Hotel, Momi Cafe and Carton King Creativity Park.
Fly Me to Polaris, staged 15 years ago, was a hit film at that time with a sentimental and romantic plot. The new sequel will highlight advanced shooting technologies to bring the audience a more pleasant audio-visual experience.
It is expected to hit the screen during next year's Chinese Valentine's Day (Qi Xi Festival), which will fall on Aug 20, 2015.
