Ficus virens (white figs) are planted all over the village. The tree can live for more than 100 years, often resulting in far-reaching twisted branches able to offer respite from the baking summer sun.

The solitary village is sparsely populated, making it a real gem for visitors. The quietness to be experienced in the village is priceless to those who live there.
