Two major Shanghai airports, the Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International airport, announced that they would provide extra cross-Strait flights between Feb 5 and 20 to help Taiwan businessmen in Kunshan and neighboring cities fly back home to celebrate the Chinese lunar New Year.

China Eastern Airlines, Air China, China Southern Airlines and Juneyao Airlines have arranged a total of 120 additional flights to better deal with the increasing demand from Taiwan businessmen during the Spring Festival.

Meanwhile, Kunshan's terminal, a remote check-in service building for flights departing from Shanghai airports, has also added more shuttle buses and more staff members for security check to ensure passengers' safe and convenient travel.

The Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 19, 2015, is a major holiday for family reunion for Chinese people.
