Dianshan Lake town in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, staged an art performance at Jinxi, a water town in Kunshan, on Nov 29. It was Dianshan's last stop of its 2014 community tour, Kunshan Daily reported.

The programs focused on the daily life of community residents, including xiaoxi (storytelling with songs and dances), xiaopin (Chinese skits) and Kunqu Opera.

The programs combined fun and education and served as a move to boost cultural communication between the two areas.
