The six-story-tall yellow rubber duck is expected to come to Kunshan soon. Florentijn Hofman, the father of the rubber duck, inspected Huaqiao (a town in Kunshan) before Chinese New Year to prepare for the rubber duck’s debut in Kunshan.

According to Hofman, Huaqiao International Service Business Park has convenient transportation facilities and good hydrological conditions suitable for displaying the rubber duck. The duck will go on display at Centre Park in Huaqiao International Service Business Park, which covers an area of 253.46 hectares and a water area of 9.94 hectares. The park is only 300 meters away from the Guangming stop on Line 11. More than 2 million visitors are expected to visit the duck during the 45-day showcase.

The rubber duck is a work of art inspired by the “classic bathtub duck” created by Florentijn Hofman. Since its creation in 2007, it has visited 17 cities in 11 nations and regions, creating a great sensation and bringing huge business benefits to local tourism and retail.
