Wuxi comes out on top for tourist satisfaction in Jiangsu

Wuxi has topped a tourist satisfaction survey carried out jointly by the provincial Tourism Administration and Tsinghua Media Survey Lab, scoring an impressive tourist satisfaction index of 84.62 for the second quarter.
The survey covered aspects including the urban brand popularity, tourist public services, scenic attraction management and tourist infrastructure.
According to Wuxi's tourism bureau, it has carried out joint enforcement actions with the municipal public security bureau and the urban management bureau to strengthen supervision and administration of the city's scenic spots.
The bureau opened a helpline for tourists eight years ago, with a commitment to arrive within ten minutes of the call and offer solutions for tourists.
Management committees of scenic attractions are required by the bureau to conduct daily surveys to collect data and feedback from visitors, in a bid to improve services and management.
Each quarter the bureau commissions the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) to conduct a tourist satisfaction survey throughout the city, covering tourism enterprises, restaurants, hotels and scenic spots.
