The region's foreign trade hit 49.55 billion yuan in the first half of this year, a 44.1 percent jump from the same period last year, Inner Mongolia's Hohhot customs said.
During the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-15), Inner Mongolia's actual use of foreign capital reached $19.78 billion, a rise of 53.3 percent from the 11th Five-Year Plan period (2006-10), according to people.com.cn.
