Baotou opens largest aquarium in Inner Mongolia

Baotou Ocean World opened to the public on July 28, marking the opening of the largest aquarium in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, reports Baotou Daily.
The aquarium, which drew investment of some 200 million yuan ($30 million), covers an area of 30,000 square meters and boasts more than 1,000 species of fish.
The aquarium also utilizes 4D-holographic laser projection technology.
It is expected to receive some 700,000 tourists from Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos and the surrounding regions.
