The first AIDS education demonstration base in Baotou is set up in Qingshan district on Dec 1, 2016. The base will play a role in providing education on AIDS prevention and control to residents. Dec 1 has been designated as World AIDS Day since 1988 to mourn those who have died of AIDS and raise people’s awareness of the disease.
