Baotou holds first stage of four-month-long marathon

Deng Linlin, a Chinese gymnast who won gold medals at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympic Games, wishes the participants luck at the Baotou mini-marathon on Sept 24, 2016. More than 3,000 runners from across China took part in the mini-marathon, which was held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Sept 24. The mini-marathon is the first stage in a four-month-long marathon that will be divided into 30 stages, each held in a different Chinese city.
