CEEC signs state road construction contract in Angola

On Oct 26 CEEC signed a construction contract in Angola for the Tchatuika - Savate section of the Angolan 140 State Road, a project located in the province of Cuando Cubango with a construction period of 24 months.

Owner of the project is the Angolan National Highway Authority and total length of the road for repair and construction is 150.6 kilometers, with a design road width of 9 meters. Its design and construction will be carried out in accordance with US standards.

CEEC will be responsible for 98.6 kilometers out of the total length of 150.6 kilometers, with main construction work including roadbed excavation and backfill, graded broken stones, asphalt paving, drainage ditches on both sides of the road, crossing culverts, road signs, soil and water conservation, etc. Currently, all construction conditions are ready for the project to be commenced.
