Maduro attends the press conference

On Aug 15 local time, Venezuelan President Maduro attended the ceremony celebrating the grid connection of the No.1 unit of the El Vigia Power Station in Venezuela undertaken by CEEC and spoke highly of the engineering construction achievements.

At 5:30 pm, Maduro, accompanied by the electricity minister of Venezuela, visited the master control room in the centralized control building of the El Vigia Power Station and observed the full-load operation of the No.1 unit. The unit ran smoothly and all of its parameters were normal, indicating that it complies with the design standard.

At 6:30 pm, Maduro attended the press conference, extended his regards to and thanked the builders of the power station and acclaimed the Chinese companies that participated in the project.
