Tatay Hydropower Station prepared for power generation in Cambodia

The hydropower station in Tatay River, the largest water conservancy project undertaken by CGGC in Cambodia has entered critical construction phase.

The project department has refined the power generation procedure by developing a scientific construction plan and making careful construction arrangements to get fully prepared for power generation.

Up to now, the upward water tunnel was completed in early this year and the downward tunnel has finished 6,941 meters; the 4th tunnel has completed 696 meters of concrete floors on the upstream and downstream sides; the 6th tunnel intersection was half-finished, and 80 percent of the steel penstocks have been assembled and welded.
