Chinese ambassador to Namibia inspects the Northern Highway Project

On June 30, Xin Shunkang, the Chinese ambassador to Namibia, visited the site of Namibian Northern Highway Upgrading & Reconstruction Project undertaken by CGGC, inquired about the project progress and extended his regards to the workers at the site.

Accompanied by the project leader, Xin visited the site of highway upgrading and reconstruction and asked about the project progress in details. Subsequently, Xin came to the project camp and extended his regards to the workers of the Project Management and local employees, talked with them in a friendly atmosphere on camp construction, employees’ livelihood and logistical supports, etc., in addition, he took part in the recreational and sports activities of employees of the Project Management joyfully and presented prizes to the winners of the badminton match.

Xin said that the Northern Highway Project was implemented in order, the camp construction was very impressive and the preliminary work was satisfactory. He encouraged all members of the Project Management to spare no efforts and endeavor to make contributions, so as to fully showcase the good image and great strength of the Chinese enterprises directly under the central government and lay a solid foundation for CGGC to further explore the Namibian market.
