CGGC signs general construction contract for Masar Waterworks in Angola

On Aug 8, CGGC and Luanda Water Supply Company, Angola, signed the general construction contract for the Masar Waterworks.

The contract construction period is 34 months, divided into two phases. The project mainly includes the demolition of exiting water treatment system, the building of two 35,000m³-reservoirs, the junction chamber, water pumps, the generator room, the chlorination room, the pump station, and the construction of the lighting system and rainwater and sewage pipeline system for the pump station. After completion, the project is expected to supply 48,000 tons of water every day to the towns around Luanda, Angola, thus greatly improving the water conditions for the citizens living nearby.
