Ethiopian FAN hydropower station constructed by CGGC starts water storage

 

At 10:18 am, July 22, Ethiopian FAN hydropower station, the first EPC project of CGGC, officially started water storage.

Representatives from the owner EEPCo and its US-based agent Hadza Inc. witnessed the historical moment beside Neshe River.

FAN hydropower station is built on Neshe River in the Blue Nile catchment in Ethiopia with a total installed capacity of 97,000 kilowatts and it is the largest overseas EPC project of CGGC. Since commencement of construction, CGGC ensured project progress and quality through optimized planning and technical innovation and laid a solid foundation for the successful operation of the power station.
