Mali Minister of Equipment and Transportation inspects Bamako No 3 Bridge Project

Ahmed Diane Semega, the Mali minister of equipment and transportation, inspected the construction site of Bamako No 3 Bridge, accompanied by the Chinese Ambassador Zhang Guoqing in Mali, Counselor Liu Qi of the Economic Counselor’s Office and relevant executive of the technical group of the Bamako No 3 Bridge of CGGC Second Engineering Co.

It is the second time Ahmed Diane Semega has inspected the bridge three months after his visit. When knowing the Chinese and Mali engineers and technicians completed the construction of the first continuous box girder through the close cooperation, he felt very satisfied with the construction progress.

Semega noted the Mali government and all circles of the society paid much attention to the construction progress of the bridge. So far, the media and social public opinion in Mali have highly commended the bridge project.

Semega said he himself was very satisfied with the construction progress, construction quality and safety work of the bridge project. He extolled the CGGC Bamako No 3 Bridge Project Department had a very excellent team, and implemented the scientific and effective site management. It is said that the Bamako No 3 Bridge Project was scheduled to fulfill the single-breadth opening at the end of this September, and the entire project was scheduled for completion in February, 2012.
