Vice President of China Exim Bank visits Yeywa HPP in Myanmar

Li Jun, vice president of China Exim Bank visited Yeywa HPP in Myanmar with his delegation team on Feb 28, 2008 and highly praised CGGC's performance in RCC dam construction, Lot 2 of the project.

Yeywa HPP, the significant HPP in Myanmar has been highly focused by Ministry of Electric Power No. 1 (MOEP 1), the Employer of the Project and China Exim Bank, the financing bank of the Project. Mr. Li visited the construction site of the RCC dam after briefings by the Employer.

Briefings by MOEP 1 official involved project planning and implementation as well as the likehood of earlier completion half year ahead of contractual schedule due to high quality and progress made by CGGC. The vice president was very satisfied with the positive cooperation between CGGC and MOEP 1 to ensure smooth implementation of RCC dam construction. He also expressed his wishes that CGGC would keep up with persistent efforts so as to complete the Contract earlier and devote much more to the hydroelectric industry of Myanmar.
