The 2014 China (Kunshan) Import Expo (CIE) is scheduled for May 14 to 17 at Huaqiao International Expo Center. Jiang Xin, deputy head of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce-one of CIE’s organizers- led a delegation to Huaqiao International Service Business Park on March 14 to inspect preparations for the expo.

The delegation was met by Shen Xiaoming, vice-mayor of Kunshan, and Zhang Zhenyue, deputy director of the administration committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, and other officials responsible for the event.

During the tour of Huaqiao International Expo Center, the delegates studied the hardware and surrounding facilities. They praised the center’s development concept of becoming a large-sized complex that incorporates exhibition, business and office; and encouraged the center to speed up the construction of supporting facilities.

The Huaqiao International Expo Center is one of the key projects of the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Cooperation Zone and Huaqiao’s largest professional exhibition hall.
