The 2014 KE Show, an exhibition specializing in electrical and electronic equipment, will kick off in Kunshan, Eastern China’s Jiangsu province, in July 2014. Its first organizing committee meeting was held in Huaqiao on Dec 19.
Shen Xiaoming, vice-mayor of Kunshan; Shen Huafei and Wan Jianfen, deputy heads of the management committee of the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone; and Chen Wenyi, secretary-general of the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), were on hand at the meeting to analyze and discuss the preparation work as well as key points for the KE Show. Officials from related units also took part in the discussion.
The KE Show is an important platform for Kunshan’s industrial transformation and upgrade. It has been held successively for four sessions.
The upcoming session will surpass its past events in terms of scale and specialization. It will promote a well-known brand in terms of electrical and electronic exhibition. It will also serve as a communication gathering for the Kunshan electronic industry and its global peers. According to the meeting, the show will present more new and high-quality products.
In addition, the meeting stressed promotion activities at different levels and stages. The supporting facilities are also a key point for preparation.
Organized by the Kunshan government and the TEEMA, the 2014 KE Show will make its debut in the Huaqiao International Expo Centre from July 5-8, 2014.
