More than 100,000 university students from 99 universities and colleges took part in the eighth "Huaqiao, Kunshan Cup" Career Planning and Design Contest of Anhui Universities’ Students, which concluded in Anhui Medical College on Dec 22.

The contest was an initiative of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, Anhui Provincial Department of Education, Anhui Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department and the Communist Youth League of Anhui Provincial Party Committee.

A total of 127 teams and 159 contestants qualified for the semi-final, and 61 contestants and teams reached the final.

A total of 11 teams won gold medals, 20 teams won silver medals, 11 contestants were awarded gold medals, and 19 students won silver medals.

In addition, 40 universities and college were recognized for their outstanding organization.

The contest was designed to improve the university students' career planning and entrepreneurial skills, and was also aimed at connecting Anhui universities and colleges with Huaqiao International Service Business Park in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, so as to provide new talent for the park.
