The Huaqiao Economic Development Zone has attached great importance to the third National Economic Census, according to the Huaqiao economic development bureau.

The park implemented measures related to the five aspects of the census.

As an indispensable part of the census, the related units in Huaqiao have organized census teams equipped with sufficient census takers and instructors.

A comprehensive plan was created to publicize the economic census in the park using both traditional media and Internet media.

In order to build a capable and efficient census team, comprehensive training and specific instructions were provided to census takers and instructors.

Cooperation and coordination of census organizations at two levels, the zone level and community level, were stressed during the census. In addition, to avoid repetition and omission of census objects, the related units, including industrial and commercial administration, taxation and investment promotion, were asked to collaborate.

The accuracy of census documents was improved by strengthening document checks and inspections.

A total of 2,716 legal entities, 266 industrial activity units and 3,938 self-employed people in the zone were inspected during the third National Economic Census.
