Huaqiao International Service Business Park was honored as one of the "Most Beautiful Tourism Destinations in China" as a part of the Most Beautiful Places in China list unveiled by the 2013 Tourism Integration and Innovation Forum in Beijing on Nov 24.

Huaqiao International Service Business Park, the only economic development zone among all the winners, has been developing leading industries such as service outsourcing and headquarters economy together with city functions in recent years.

The park's particular focus on business service is embodied by a number of high-quality projects, including tourism, exhibitions, cultural creativity and trade.

Huaqiao will accelerate integration and innovation in tourism in the following phases.

By taking advantage of Shanghai Metro Line 11, a line linking Huaqiao with tourism areas in Kunshan and Shanghai, Huaqiao seeks to create a new tourism pattern, a new tourism brand, a new tourism hot spot and a new tourism image.

Tourism is expected to be the fifth leading industry in Huaqiao.

The 2013 Tourism Integration and Innovation Forum was organized by Xinhuanet.com with an aim to show China’s beauty, integrate multiple cultures and innovate industrial structures.

Experts and scholars of the Ministry of Culture, National Tourism Administration, Xinhuanet.com and China Tourism Academy were on hand, in addition to representatives from tourism cities and scenic areas around China.
