The fifth China Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) Outsourcing Summit was successfully held on Oct 16 in Huaqiao International Business Service Park in Kunshan.
The summit focused on the theme of “The New Financial Deal and Outsourcing” and probed into the opportunities and challenges of financial outsourcing brought by the in-depth promotion of financial reform and opening in the financial service field. It also explored how to further exert the positive roles that service outsourcing has in order to generate new value for the finance sector and the overall economy at large.
The summit was attended by nearly 200 people, including leaders from the Ministry of Commerce, the Jiangsu provincial government and the Kunshan municipal government; distinguished guests from financial regulators; representatives from domestic and overseas financial institutions including banks, insurances companies and securities companies; representatives from Global 500 transnational corporations; well-known service outsourcing enterprises; service outsourcing demonstration cities and parks; professional consultation institutions; industry associations; and experts and scholars in related fields.
Chen Deming, chairman of the PRC Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS), and Zhu Xiaoming, honorary director of the China Service Outsourcing Research Center, and other VIP guests gave excellent speeches. The summit also invited a delegation from the financial industry in Taiwan to hold a discussion on cooperation and development in financial industries across the Straits.
During the summit, the China Service Outsourcing Research Center announced important research results for the prosperity index of Chinese service outsourcing, which is designed to provide professional services for the government, enterprises and society. The Shanghai Stock Exchange Center in Huaqiao, Baozheng Financial Leasing, China Public Procurement Limited, Taiwan VTeam Group, BDstar Navigation and other institutions made commitments to Huaqiao International Business Service Park during the project signing ceremony.
