A conference for heads of the Suzhou tourism administration was held in Kunshan on the afternoon of July 15. Zhu Guoqiang, the director of the Suzhou tourism administration, attended and addressed the meeting. Yu Yuming, deputy director of the Suzhou tourism administration, hosted the meeting. Deputy directors, Lu Feng and Libin; deputy researcher, Tang Bingfang; and principles of other departments of the tourism administration also attended the meeting.

 

Dong Jianguo, the director of the Kunshan tourism administration, spoke first about the new development trend of Kunshan during the first half of 2013. Then, principles of the tourism department in other districts in Suzhou communicated with each other about how to develop their own local tourism features. Leaders of the Suzhou tourism administration also specified their own responsibilities in the next half-year.

 

Zhu Guoqiang, the director of the Suzhou tourism administration, delivered a conclusive speech at the end of the meeting. He affirmed the achievements of each district’s tourism bureau in the first half-year and emphasized that Suzhou needed breakthroughs in seven aspects for better transformation: project operation, public tourist service, tourism marketing, tourism regulation and system expansion.
