The planners of Kunshan's bilingual school, which will offer classes from kindergarten to high school, are increasing their efforts concerning green initiatives around the campus.

Construction of the East China Kang Chiao International School, located in Huaqiao in the southern part of Greenland Road in Huaqiao International Service Business Park, started in May, and it features many concepts and methods of low carbon society in the design and planning.

The construction adheres to the national environmental regulations and laws in a bid to build a national Two-Star level green campus, and the planners have adopted green energy-saving technologies including a heating pump system in the ground, a water recycling system, LED green lighting and internal air-quality control system.
