Huaqiao International Business Service Park has sped up efforts to build an exhibition center to ensure the fourth Session of the China E-Commerce Logistics Conference and the third China (Kunshan) Brand Products Import Expo in 2014 will be held on schedule.

With a planning construction area of 65,000 square meters, the exhibition center plays an important role in developing the exhibition industry in the future.

The main body of the exhibition center has already completed construction, but the internal water system, electricity, heating and fire systems are still in the commissioning phase. Road construction and square planting are expected to finish before the end of June.

The surroundings of the expo center, featuring hotels, commercial centers and other facilities, have already begun groundbreaking.

To further accelerate the development of the exhibition industry, Huaqiao will invite experts from the Shanghai Exhibition Association to conduct a comprehensive analysis of Huaqiao’s exhibition industry; speed up the construction of the Huaqiao Exhibition Center and ensure an area of 100,000 square meters adhering to international standards; and explore a way for industrial integration of exhibition, trade, tourism and other industries.
