The organizers of the first China Golden Valley Software Competition released their rules and conditions on May 15, and the event is scheduled to start soon.

The three-month competition aims to support efforts of the modern service industry in Huaqiao to recruit young professionals in order to meet their demand amid their development.

In addition, the competition is expected to strengthen cooperation between companies and colleges and promote the talent selection and special training.

The contest theme of application software design will require participants to compete with each other in the area of ITO (information technology outsourcing) to further explore their potential in software projects.

Companies including Capgemini (Kunshan) Co, Camelot Information Technology Co, the Dell Information Technology (Kunshan) Co and Genpact (Suzhou) Information Technology Service Co will participate in the competition as some of their staff members will serve as consultants and judges.

They will help select 19 teams for the finals. In addition, teachers of the competitors will be invited to take part in the third session of College Teacher Summer Camp Activities organized by Huaqiao in July.
