The department of human resources at the Huaqiao International Service Business Park did a special hiring drive for the cities of Heihe, Harbin, and Qiqihar in China's Heilongjiang province, April 21 to 28, with nine of the park’s companies, such as Capgemini, Dell, Bairun, Camelot, Hua Tuo Digital, and Goodbaby taking part. They collected 1,088 resumes in all and at least 350 candidates got past the first round of interviews.

Heilongjiang has been a strategic source of talented personnel for Huaqiao and has given strong support to the region over the years. The provincial education department and local colleges and universities have visited Huaqiao many times and have all praised the hiring drive.

Many of Heilongjiang’s colleges and universities even have long-term strategic cooperation agreements with companies in Huaqiao and Heilongjiang University and Qiqihar University hold classes in partnership with Capgemini, which has used the university program for nearly 200 talented people at its Huaqiao plant.
