Delegates from Huaqiao International Service Business Park along with a Kunshan municipal delegation visited the United States on April 14. The visit sought to expand the outsourcing industry into North America, forging a business bridge between China and the US.

During the visit, Lu Jun, mayor of Kunshan, and Huaqiao delegates took a tour of Dell Services, headquartered in Plano, Texas. Deep dialogues between the two sides covered investment, output and plans for Dell Kunshan’s next phase of work.

Dell Services provides support services, solutions for management service data centers, basic hardware support, software support, cloud services, outsourcing services, application services, business process services, IT consulting and professional services. Dell Kunshan entered Huaqiao International Service Business Park in April 2012 to build its service outsourcing center. When completed in 2014, the center will become Dell Services’ headquarter in the Yangtze River Delta.

The delegation also visited Prudential Financial Inc, one of the country’s biggest financial institutions headquartered in New York. Founded in 1875, it has a history of 137 years.

The visit was informative and will pave the way for Kunshan’s future foreign investment attraction efforts.
