Huaqiao International Business Service Park has decided to manage street signs and traffic signs using a market-based model after rounds of research and consideration.
The park currently has 70 signposts and will build 162 new signposts along main streets in the next two years. The 232 signposts together with 75 traffic signs will be operated commercially. More than 20 percent of them will be used for government public service advertisements. Fifty percent of them will be used for Huaqiao’s event promotion with a frequency of no less than twice annually. The market-based operation model will bring convenience to local residents and reduce government costs.
