Suzhou's economic & information technology commission issued a major enterprises and projects list in emerging industries recently. Four enterprises from Huaqiao were included in the Suzhou emerging industries enterprises directory.

The four enterprises are Kushan Rousing Optoelectronics Co, Kushan Noke Automotive Technical Machinery Co, Kunshan East Coast Marine and Pos-Austem (Suzhou) Automotive Co. Rousing Optoelectronic was listed in the "new flat-panel display" industry and the other three were cataloged in the "high-end equipment manufacturing" industry.

To date, six emerging industry enterprises have set up operations in Huaqiao.
