The Huaqiao financial service outsourcing park project received a second-place award in the 2013 Innovation Award of Environmentally Friendly Buildings, according to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

The Huaqiao financial service outsourcing park, which covers an area of 160,000 square meters, consists of 10 sections with 29 buildings built with 46 environmental protection technologies. It features a ground source heat pump, rainwater recycling facilities and planting roofs to help conserve energy, water and building materials. In addition, its intellectualized management system helps to combine economic development with environmental protection.
