The second China International Import Expo, hosted by China Chamber of International Commerce and the provincial government of Jiangsu province, will take place from May 15 to 18 in Kunshan.
The event is a national level import expo which aims to promote and expand China's imports of foreign products and technology.
Around 80,000 people are expected to visit the expo, which will cover an area of 70,000 square meters. It will be divided into four zones - high-end machinery and equipment, new energy, environmental protection and new materials. There will also be a special zone for displaying auto parts.
A total of 677 enterprises from 46 countries and regions, including 21 Fortune 500 companies, attended the first expo in March 2012 in Kunshan.
