The Association of Science and Technology of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone held the 2012 Science and Technology Conference recently. Lin Yanbin, deputy director of the economic development bureau of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, attended.

Participants summarized scientific work achievements in Huaqiao in 2012, noting the improvements in scientific innovation ability thanks to efforts from scientific and technological staff.

"We should grasp opportunities to promote innovation in the scientific work of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone in a pragmatic way," said Lin Yanbin, "and carry out more projects as well as talent trainings to expand our scientific development."
