The 2013 Taiwan-funded Enterprise Transformation and Upgrading Conference was held in Huaqiao Economic Development Zone on Jan 11. Representatives from major Taiwan-funded enterprises in Huaqiao attended.

“Taiwan-funded enterprises in Huaqiao should realize transformation and upgrades through reducing cost and improving services,” said Wang Jianfen, deputy director of the management committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone.

Participants in the conference reviewed the economic operation of Huaqiao and the overall developments of Taiwan-funded enterprises in 2012. Taiwan business representatives exchanged viewpoints and suggestions on enterprise transformation, talent introduction, intellectual property and automated management to inspire further development.
