Jiang Hongkun, Party secretary of Suzhou, visited the Huaqiao Economic and Development Area on Dec 12, accompanied by Guan Aiguo, Party secretary of Kunshan, and Lu Jun, mayor of Kunshan.

During his visit in Huaqiao Fund Industrial Park and Amazon Kunshan Operating Center, Jiang Hongkun praised achievements of the local service economy. "The overall transformation of Kunshan can be realized through optimizing resource allocations, promoting the service economy and emerging industries, and adjusting its industrial structure," Jiang said.

Huaqiao Fund Industrial Park supports equity investments, risk investments and venture capital funds firms to relocate here. The park has already attracted many financial enterprises such as the Shanghai Gold Exchange (People's Bank of China), China Foreign Exchange Center, Shanghai Clearing Center of RMB and Central Bank Electronic Services Ltd.

The Amazon Kunshan Operating Center was put into operation in October 2010, which covers an area of 12 hectares, and can dispatch millions kinds of commodities. Its sales would likely be at over 1.2 billion yuan ($191.82 million) this year.
