The Association for Science and Technology of Kunshan and Kunshan Science and Technology Bureau issued recommendations on the 2011-2015 first batches of science demonstration areas (counties) in Kunshan on Sep 18. Huaqiao Economic Development Zone won the honor.

In recent years, Huaqiao holds more than three series of activities, scientific and technical quality and skill training each year. Huaqiao has trained more than 100 volunteers at one science activity station, and set up a science service station for agriculture, one science activity station and 8 community science service stations to promote popular science.
