At the invitation of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), a Huaqiao delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the 33rd Annual National Convention in Los Angeles on Sept 16. The delegation was led by Qian Fangli, director of the China Service Outsourcing Research Center, and Wu Xinyi, director of the Huaqiao Investment Promotion Bureau.
Established in 1980, the USHCC is one of the major minority chambers of commerce in the US. It has more than 200 branches and nearly three million Hispanic enterprise members. The chamber aims to create more business opportunities for minority enterprises by facilitating communication between Hispanic and US enterprises.
Qian and Wu met executives from IBM, Coca Cola, Ernst & Young, American Express and Bank of America and introduced Huaqiao International Service Business Park at the ceremony. They invited the transnational corporations to visit the park and welcomed all the companies present to attend the fourth China BFSI Outsourcing Summit in Huaqiao on Oct 16.
