The first-stage of construction of the Dianfeng (Huaqiao) International Service Outsourcing Industrial Park at the Huaqiao International Service Business Park is progressing smoothly. The project covers a floor area of 100,000 square meters and has an investment of 550 million yuan ($86.9 million). The two office buildings in Section 1 have completed construction of two floors. Section 2 has finished its pile foundation. The whole project is expected to finish in 2014.

The park aims to become a competitive and professional software and service outsourcing base in East China. It will make efforts to help foreign enterprises establish offshore R&D, service and solutions centers in China. It also seeks to introduce mature technologies and products from abroad.
