With the theme, “converging global finance and leading investment direction”, the 16th China International Fair for Invest and Trade (CIFIT) was held in Xiamen, Fujian province on Sept 8.13 provincially administrated municipalities of Xiamen exhibited various specific projects including coastal exploitation, emerging industries, cooperation between Suzhou and Taiwan, service outsourcing and “going out”, which attracted the attention of financiers from at home and abroad. The deputy governor of Jiangsu province Zhang Weiguo attended the opening ceremony and other activities of the 2012 International Investment Forum.

Zhang Weiguo said Jiangsu seeks to maintain growth, adjust structure and promote transformations. Accordingly, cities, development zones and enterprises should seize the opportunity to make friends, create favorable circumstances for bringing in investments and talents and “going out” to enhance the level of utilizing foreign capitals to boost Jiangsu’s internationalization of economy, cities and talents.
