Accompanied by Shen Huafei, deputy directors of the management committee of Huaqiao, Zhang Xuechun, deputy Party secretary of Kunshan, investigated key foreign trade enterprises in Huaqiao International Service Business Park on Aug 24.

Zhang Xuechun, along with his delegation, first visited MR InfraAuto(Suzhou) Co. Ltd, which is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise set up by Korea's Posco, one of the world's three largest steel makers. During the first half of this year, sales of the enterprise reached 210,000 tons. Zhang hopes that Huaqiao would achieve interactive development between manufacturing and services.

Then, Zhang visited Tai Hong Machinery Electric (Kunshan) Co Ltd to learn more about its developments. He said the firm has enormous potential and he wants Huaqiao to provide one-stop services in electricity and capital for its second phase.

After discussions with heads from other enterprises, Zhang emphasized that Huaqiao should cultivate new and high technology enterprises to upgrade its capabilities to compete in the business world.
